I live in a family that is very traditional and everyone hast to respect tradition. We cherish our everything that belongs to our past. When my older sister Jennifer got married she received a bracelet from our great grandmother that she had worn when getting married. I also received some objects from my mom when I moved to my husband Tom. So when I was pregnant I knew I would get my old cot bed, my mum used when my sister and then me were born and I would only have to buy a new cot bed mattress. The cot bed was waiting for us all the time in our cellar and my old cot bed mattress was thrown away right shortly I was born. The bed has a solid construction, that is true. However, I wanted to have something more modern, but unfortunately my mum insisted on having our traditional white cot bed that had been used for her kids, me and my sister. I eventually agreed but I must say I didn"t really like the plain cot bed. Now in the shops, traditional or online, there are a lot of nice pieces of nursery furniture, there are other possibilities than just a plain cot bed. But on the other hand I can save some money because I don"t need to buy a new cot for my baby, which is expensive. I just need to buy a new and nice cot mattress. I have already seen a nice cot bed mattress in one of the online shops.
